Visiting Omnisport and/or attending the event is at your own risk. Omnisport Apeldoorn will open to the public no later than 1 hour before the start of the competition. For exact opening times, please consult the [programme] page.
Bringing your own food and drinks is not permitted, with the exception of a small bottle of water (max. 500 ml) or a small amount of sweets/snacks. Food and drinks are available from the catering outlets inside the venue. Bags will be checked at the entrance.
Drugs, (toy) weapons and fireworks are prohibited.
Security staff and other employees appointed by the organiser are authorised to check visitors, including by means of a security search and inspection, to search bags and to confiscate items that, in their judgement, are not permitted. If you refuse to cooperate, you will be denied access to the venue and the event. Medication is, of course, permitted provided that a medical certificate can be shown.
If, in the opinion of the organiser, Omnisport, their employees and/or appointed security staff, a visitor disrupts public order, peace and/or safety, whether or not as a result of violating these house rules, that visitor may be refused entry to or removed from the venue and/or event.
During the event and at Omnisport, it is not permitted to explicitly promote political, ideological or religious views, or to make statements that may be considered offensive, hurtful or insulting. The wearing or display of nationalist and/or political statements on clothing or items brought into the venue is also prohibited. In any of the aforementioned situations and/or in cases of threats, vandalism, damage, assault, intimidation, aggression, discrimination, racism, theft and/or unwanted sexual behaviour, you may be denied access to or removed from the venue and event, and the police may be notified.
Visitors who act unlawfully towards the organiser, Omnisport, their employees and/or third parties, or who cause damage to property belonging to the organiser, Omnisport and/or third parties, will be held liable and the resulting costs will be recovered from them.
Glassware may not be taken outside the area in which it was provided.
Distributing flyers, collecting donations or carrying out any other commercial activities, such as advertising and/or offering goods or services, is only permitted with prior written permission from the organiser. Such permission must be shown upon request.
The entire building is smoke-free. E-cigarettes and all other smoking products are also prohibited. Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes are only permitted outside in the designated smoking areas.
Visitors must follow instructions from security services and/or staff of the organiser and/or Omnisport at all times.
Leaning over the railing of the cycling track is not permitted. Coats and other items must also never be hung over the railing.
Unauthorised persons are not permitted to enter the cycling track.
The organiser may make, or arrange for others to make, photo, video and/or audio recordings of the venue, activities and people in and around the venue. These recordings may be used as atmospheric or promotional content in commercial communications. If you do not wish to appear in such recordings, please avoid areas where you see a camera operator, film crew and/or photographer at work. The organiser is not required to pay compensation to persons appearing in such photo, video and/or audio recordings for their use or publication.
The organiser and Omnisport process personal data, including CCTV footage, in accordance with applicable legislation and their privacy statement.
Bringing digital photography and video equipment into the venue is permitted, provided that the equipment and the resulting images are not used for commercial purposes. If unlawful commercial use of the equipment and/or images is detected, you will be removed from the venue and denied further access to the event. The matter will also be reported to the organiser and the KNWU, who may take further action.
The organiser and Omnisport accept no liability for personal injury and/or theft, loss, disappearance of or damage to visitors’ belongings arising during and/or as a result of a visit to the venue and/or event, except insofar as such damage is caused by intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of the organiser and/or Omnisport.
The organiser and Omnisport are not liable for consequential damages, including business losses and loss of income.
Insofar as the organiser and Omnisport are not entitled to rely on the aforementioned limitations of liability, their liability will be limited to the amount covered by the relevant liability insurance, including the amount of any applicable excess.
In situations not covered by these house rules, the organiser, persons appointed by the organiser and/or Omnisport will decide which measures are to be taken.
